James Van Splinter
In his litigation practice, Jim focuses on complex commercial litigation, representing business entities and individuals in a wide variety of matters, including shareholder, contract, intellectual property, and employment disputes. Jim regularly appears in state and federal court, including appellate-level courts, and has practiced extensively before several alternative dispute arbitral bodies, including the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
In his intellectual property practice, Jim is a registered Patent Attorney and focuses his practice on advising clients in connection with intellectual property acquisition, protection, patent evaluation and monetization, and due diligence.
